It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…Our top 8 things to do in Newbury this saturday
The official switch on of the Newbury Christmas Lights is just a few days away and we are delighted that one of our bands is supporting this amazing community event that kicks off the festive season!
There’s a whole load of music, activities and fun to be had on Saturday 18th November throughout the whole town with the main event (the lights switch on!) taking place in the market place at 6pm.
Here’s our top 8 on the list of (nearly) FREE activities that we’re looking forward to on Saturday:
Exploring the Christmas Market and picking up some early presents on Northbrook Street
Meeting the Living Nativity Animal Farm in Inches Yard (opposite Good Vibes studios)
Playing around in the Giant Snow Globe by the Kennet Centre
Partying and dancing to Good Vibes’ band on the main stage in the Market Place at 1:15pm
Getting messy with Christmas Tree Decoration Painting at The Ugly Duckling Cafe (£5 - not strictly free but so cool!)
Getting start struck meeting Anna, Elsa and Olaf at the Waterside Centre
Meeting the busiest man in the world (Santa!) in his grotto in The Kennet Centre
Getting properly Christmassy by counting down the turn on of the town’s Christmas lights at 6pm
