Celebrating the musical life of Newbury

I am absolutely delighted that Newbury Spring Festival have asked Good Vibes to curate a showcase performance that brings together school and community groups from across the town and the surrounding area.

Newbury has such a wonderful and thriving music scene and it’s wonderful that the Newbury Spring Festival are putting this emphasis on celebrating local musicians.

The showcase will include performances by John Rankin School, NOMADs, St Gabriel’s School, Soul Reason, St Bartholomew’s School, Burghclere School alongside Watership Brass Band as well as the Showcase House Band.  I’m also delighted that Kennet Radio DJ, Aaron K, will be getting the audience warmed up before the show and during the interval and the whole show will be compered by Chris Boulton, CEO of Greenham Trust.  And if we need any more, the Corn Exchange technical crew will be ably supported by the students of Newbury College too.

This is shaping up to be a really exciting community collaboration that will show of the breadth and depth of musical diversity in the area.

Tickets go on general sale on at 10am on 5th March 2024.  Click here to book your tickets to witness this superb event.
