At Good Vibes Music Academy, we believe collaboration is at the heart of becoming a true musician, and that’s why we’re thrilled to introduce Band 101—our brand-new band course that’s perfect for budding musicians ready to take their skills to the next level.
What Is Band 101?
Band 101 is your first step into the world of band performances. Designed for students who have achieved at least a 3-star level or equivalent (around 2–3 months of playing), this course gives you the chance to:
Choose your own music: Bring your personality to the table and select songs you love.
Add your creative flair: Learn to adapt and arrange your chosen track in a way that reflects your band’s unique sound.
Collaborate and rehearse: Work together with your bandmates to refine your performance.
Take the stage: Showcase your hard work at our exciting Band Night, where you’ll perform live alongside other talented young musicians.
This one-term course runs weekly on Sundays from 5 pm to 6 pm, starting Sunday, 5th January 2025, and culminates in the Band Night showcase on 23rd March 2025 at the Phoenix Centre, Newbury.

Who’s It For?
This course is currently open to students aged 12–18, with plans to introduce similar opportunities for adults based on demand. So if you’re a guitarist, drummer, keyboardist, bassist, or vocalist with some experience under your belt, this is your chance to shine.
