LEARN to DJ

Our teachers reserve time on their schedules, plan for your sessions, and invest in the long-term development of each student. To provide a quality experience, the following policies need to be observed.

LEARN TO DJ

1.    You’ll receive 5 x 1hr sessions with a specialist DJ teacher

2.    Instruments and equipment will be provided for student to use in the sessions.

3.    Additional educational resources may be shared via the lesson portal.

4.     We recognise the role that commitment to consistent sessions plays in aiding pupil progress and commit to the same values.

Fees

5.     The full fee is required to be paid at time of booking.

6.     The fee covers the cost of all sessions as advertised.

7.     No discounts, reductions or refunds will be provided if any sessions are not attended or missed.

SESSIONS

8. This course has been designed to provide you with flexibility to book session as and when you require. Only the first session is booked when you purchase the course.

9. Within 24hrs, the remaining four sessions will be added as ‘credits’ to your account within the GVMA lesson portal.

10. All sessions must be used within 60days of the date of the first session. Any session that are not used within 60days will be forfeited. The used by (valid until) date is displayed on the ‘credit’ in your portal.

11. Sessions are not transferable to any other person and only the student registered is able to receive the session.

12. Additional sessions and ongoing lesson memberships can be purchased separately.

HOW DO I BOOK THE SESSIONS

13. You book the session via your lesson portal account by clicking the ‘use’ button on the session credit.

14. Sessions can. be booked up to 45 days in advance.

16. Our welcome desk team will be more than happy to assist with booking sessions.

Attending your Session

16. Please arrive ahead of your session time so that the session can start on time and your receive the full amount of time.

17. Students who arrive late will only be offered the remaining time available of the session slot. We cannot guarantee to deliver the full session length.

If you are unable to attend a SESSION

18. If you are unable to attend a session, you must let us know via the lesson portal by clicking ‘cancel’ button on the upcoming session or in person via the front of house team.  We are not able to accept requests to cancel a session via other means of communication.

19. If you provide more than 24hrs notice that you are unable to make a session, you will automatically be issued with a ‘make-up credit’ which you can use within 60 days to catch up on the missed session.

20. If you do not provide any, or provide less than 24hrs notice, the session effected will be forfeited and no make-up service credit will be issued.

21. No refund or financial credit will be issued for missed sessions.

If our teacher is unable to make a SESSION

22. If our teacher is unable to make session, we will endeavour to provide a substitute teacher so that your session can still go ahead as planned.

23. If a substitute teacher is not able to be provided, you will be issued with a ‘staff make-up’ credit that you can use within 60 days to make-up the session.

If you’re not happy with the service

24. We hope that you enjoy the whole of your time learning.  In the unlikely event that something doesn’t meet your expectations, please contact our front of house team in the first instance.

25. If the issue remains unresolved to your satisfaction, you can request that our front of house team escalate to the senior management team who will investigate you concerns.

26. Please refer to our Safeguarding and Child Protection policy for safeguarding related issues.  Our Safeguarding and Child Protection policy supersedes and takes priority in all instances.

27. All complaints and feedback will be treated seriously, fairly and, if appropriate, in confidence.

28. If appropriate, the person making the complaint will be kept informed of progress made regarding the complaint through to resolution.

Data Protection 

29. All customer and student information is kept in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

30. By becoming a member of Good Vibes Music Academy, you are agreeing to Good Vibes Music Academy storing and processing your data in line with the Data Protection act 1998.

31. Good Vibes Music Academy does not store any bank or card details.

34. These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.  We will let you know as and when any changes to these terms and conditions are made.
